One week in Singapore across TOKEN2049, Yield Summit, Privacy Summit, Finality Forum, and Vault Summit. Here’s what stood out.
Institutional finance. What will it take for more institutional capital to move onchain? Liquidity, market structure, vault strategies, and confidentiality came up in nearly every conversation with LPs, asset managers, and market makers, both at Yield Summit’s roundtables (350+ decision-makers) and at our private dinner with partners and institutional guests.
Privacy & FHE. Privacy is essential for financial activity on public blockchains, and Zama is the fastest growing confidentiality protocol for onchain finance. At Privacy Summit and Finality Forum, our team joined other privacy experts to compare privacy-preserving technologies and their role in the future of onchain finance.
Confidential vaults. At Vault Summit, Irene Patrikios introduced Zama’s Confidential Vault Stack. Existing vaults, strategies, and distribution stay in place; confidentiality becomes an additional layer. The allocator’s position is private, the curator’s strategy stays public, and auditors or regulators can be given access.
Finance is moving onchain. Confidentiality is key to scaling it.
