The $ZAMA public auction is a sealed-bid Dutch auction, built on the Zama Protocol itself. This mechanism prioritizes distribution quality and price discovery, not maximizing FDV or total sale amount. Bids are encrypted and not time-based: no gas wars, no “race to click,” no front-running.
